CHARLENE CURTIS 22 years at Cambridge School™
Why I love Cambridge Schools: From the first moment I walked into a Cambridge School in 1989 I felt the warmth and experienced the creative, learning environment. I knew this was a place I'd enjoy working. I can’t say enough about the administration and classroom staff at Cambridge. The teamwork, support, professionalism and dedication to excellence are evident every day, year after year. I am grateful to be employed in an environment that I can experience seeing children learn, grow, laugh and play. I wish every child could have the opportunity to attend a Cambridge School.
Favorite Children’s Book: The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn
Favorite Comment from a Student: “Mom, I love it here, why can’t we live at Cambridge?”
Most Memorable School Moment: The opening of the Pembroke Pines school in 1995. This was an exciting time as it was the beginning of the future vision of Cambridge Schools. It was and continues to be exciting to be a part of an educational program that is a leader in providing the highest quality in environment, nurturing, materials, and leadership. I have been involved in the opening of all the current four Cambridge preschools and I look forward to continuing the journey for many years to come.
MISS SANDRA CARDENAS 17 years at Cambridge School
Why I love Cambridge Schools: Cambridge provides a safe learning environment for all the children. Children are free to express their ideas, feelings and creativity. In addition, parents are able to come in at any time and see their child interacting, playing, and learning. I love Cambridge because it is a family and all the staff and parents make it a great place for children to start their first years.
Favorite Children’s Book: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? By Bill Martin Jr.
Favorite Comment from a Student: We had a big food pyramid on the wall and a child from a Three Year Old Class said “Look Ms. Sandra this is a big volcano” and I responded “Yes, a big healthy volcano”.
Most Memorable School Moment: Annual Airplane Day. On this day children actually pack their luggage and decide where they want to go. Children really get to experience checking in their luggage and eating an airplane snack as they sit in their numbered chair. Teachers do a great job on this day by dressing up as flight staff. Children never forget this special day.
MISS MARTI MESTANOV 16 years at Cambridge School

This is my second home to whom I can proudly say I love waking up and coming to work. The staff I work with does not and cannot compare to any other. It’s always a joy and a privilege to be part of some place so wonderful.

I Wish I Had Duck Feet by Theo Le Sieg (A.K.A Dr. Seuss)
